In college, our thesis was called the Nut Buying System by the company that sponsored the project. 'Nut' was short for Coconut, because the company's business was the manufacturing and exportation of coconuts and coconut goods. So, naturally, our thesis group was called the 'Nuts', and by now you should have realized what I meant by saying a day with the nuts. :)
Yup, for the first time in months, all four of us were finally able to meet and we spent it by having lunch at Cyma and then watching Tropic Thunder.
I liked the food in Cyma, it's a Greek restaurant in Greenbelt 2, a bit pricey but servings are large enough for sharing. We had the flaming cheese, roast pork chops and angel hair pasta with salmon. Very nice.
And then Tropic Thunder...hahaha, laugh trip talaga. Not for kids. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it actually, but I think the dialogue was just great and the actors were just perfect for their roles, and it was such a star-studded cast with a lot of cameos I couldn't help but enjoy it.
Anyway, here's a pic of all four of us...whenever we're together it really just brings back memories. I miss college. *sighs*
I just hope that the next time we meet, kumpleto na ang college barkada, along with Kat, Krisel and Jeng. :) See you guys soon!

How do you measure a year? :)
I've always loved this song :) It's from the musical Rent.
SEASONS OF LOVE
[ALL]
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes,
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Moments so dear.
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure, measure a year?
In Daylights, in sunsets, in midnights
In cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife.
In five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure
A year in the life?
How about love?
How about love?
How about love? Measure in love
Seasons of love.
Seasons of love.
[JOANNE]
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes!
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Journeys to plan.
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure the life
Of a woman or a man?
[COLLINS]
In truths that she learned,
Or in times that he cried,
In bridges he burned,
Or the way that she died.
[ALL]
It's time now to sing out,
Tho' the story never ends
Let's celebrate
Remember a year in the life of friends
Remember the love!
Remember the love!
Remember the love
Measure in love
Seasons of love!
Seasons of love.
[JOANNE]
Oh you got to remember the love,
You know that love is a gift from up above
Share love, give love, spread love
Measure, measure your life in love.

Turning 26
I'm counting down the last few minutes of being 25. Louie's keeping me company via SMS. I'm really touched since she's all the way in Tajikistan (did I spell this right?)
Anyway, today was my ex-Sunlife-boss Manny's last day with the Sunny Company (credit to Ces for the moniker), and I went over to TEC to attend his despedida. It was fun! I got to see my old teammates, my old users and made me feel a little bit wistful about things. I know it's not just me who has these 'feelings' of missing my Sunny days.
It's weird that this is what I contemplate as I turn 26. :P I guess it's just a coincidence that I had to be there on this day, and that I'm texting with Louie. Other than that, there really isn't much to think about anyway.
Haha, Louie just texted me... I guess I'm now 26.
Time to celebrate! ;)
